Does anyone know any brands of eco friendly makeup & cosmetics that you can purchase online, catalogs, or in stores? I'd love to know. Reply to this

We sell a lot of Burt's Bees in our store. I'm not sure if it's eco friendly but I'm pretty sure it is or we wouldn't be selling it! We get a lot of good feedback about it.

Burt's Bees is good stuff! I use the lip balm in the dead of winter because it seems to work better than any other I have found. Roxy, the place you work sounds pretty cool :)

I agree with Happy2bg33k, the shop you're in sounds good. Please let us know more about it and put a post on for your appropriate area of the US.

I rep for a company that sells mineral makeup. Best I have used so far.
I think that mascara is the most difficult to find pure and natural. Lipstick can be also. I like Honeybee Gardens lipstick. I use a mascara by a company named Beauty Wise.
It took me a long time to find alternatives, but it was worth it.

Where did you find them? I would like to give it a try! I've never heard of those companies, we don't sell them in our store and I'm not sure why...

For mascara and lipstick I go to--http://www.bewellstaywell.com/

For mineral makeup (I rep for this company, it is called Au Naturel Glow. You can access it through my link here...)

All of my cosmetics and body care are chemical/toxin/preservative free. It took me a long time to find ones that I liked!

Neat! Thanks, I will definitely look into that. I always like trying new cosmetics so I can stick to something tried and true. I'm tired of wasting money on junk!

Can you tell me some more about mineral makeup? I've heard the phrase and stored it in the back of my head but never really figured out what it is. Are the pigments made naturally as well?
