Hi! My name is Brett Andrew Borders. From 2001 to 2003 I traveled around the world and saw some of the most pristine and beautiful, as well as some of the most damaged and polluted ecosystems on planet Earth. I did not realize what the significance of the experience at the time, but upon returning to the USA, I realized that my senses had been awakened so that I could be more conscious about my consumption and take better care of this planet.
Issues that are important to me include: renewable energy adoption, decreasing dependence on fossil fuels, protecting engaged animals, sea level rise, coral reef preservation, and leaving the world's remaining tribal people alone if they choose to be.
