This Summer The wonderfully original Eco Design Fair returns with two
events, plus a recycling party special!
Some of the most forward-thinking designer-makers and who produce a
host of design-led, sustainable lifestyle products will be selling
fashion, footwear, alternative technology, home accessories, natural
bodycare, jewellery, baby goods, toys, books, greetings cards and
gifts. Organic food and drink available.
Live music. Recycled art workshop for all.
The purpose of these events is to promote and sell products that
contain an element of sustainable design and/or are ethically
produced.
With the use of contemporary design in environmentally friendly
products really taking off, The Eco-Design Fair is one of the few
places in the country to see – and buy, some fantastic design products
directly from the makers.
Exhibitors’ work concerns several of the following considerations:
Organically grown
Recycled/recyclable
Fairly traded
Natural
Non-toxic
Cruelty-free
Low energy-consuming in production/use
