Personally speaking I think that the name of the shops are appropriate to what they do.
They are a co-op selling organic and fairtrade goods to the local areas. The selection at this one in Gosforth is great to such an extent that when I'm up there (I now live in kent) I have to go in and stock up. They are doing so well up there that rumour has it they have recently moved into larger premises within the shopping centre on Gosforth high street. Good for them Reply to this article / Report this article

If you're ever in the area, treat yourself to one of their sandwiches - bread is organic, and the selection of fillings is amazing. They'll make up almost whatever you want therre and then, all with produce that they sell in the shop. My mother is rather partial to salmon and olive (so's the cat!) but I prefer houmous and alfalfa sprouts.... yum! Followed by rich chocolate cake of course!
