hello i was wondering since vegitarians dont get alot of protein because the main source of protein from meat is gone, is it okay to take protein supplements to maintain your protein levels? or are there other ways of getting protein like beans and cheese? For Vegans, the main sources are nuts and pulses. I know that a vegetarian's digestive system develops and adapts to the diet slightly so that they can gain from nutrients and protiens in vegetables, nuts and grains, that meat eaters cannot - the system basically becomes more sophisticated.
