Have you ever wondered how the shop you buy your clothes in ranks from an ethical perspective?
Whilst doing some work based research I've come across this site. It's a great site giving a simple ranking of many of the standard high street fashion stores from Monsoon to New Look and Asda to John Lewis. Take a look and I think some of the information will surprise you - I was certainly surprised to see how well Next do. I don't shop there, but I certainly didn't realise they had such strong ethical values that they actually put into practice.
Non of the stores are "green" stores in that they don't specialise in just green goods such as the Natural Collection or Gossypium so just because they rank well on this site does not mean they are the best places to go, but if the high street is your only option, it's certainly worth checking out Clean up Fashion.
